4 year old Mimi is a proud Mimi. When you accomplish something, you skip around the room. (Like riding a horse, one leg in the front, one leg in the back, never crossing each other, shuffles in one direction until hitting a wall, then turn around and do it the other way)  Things you're proud of:  Being 4 years old. When I praise you, for good counting, good cleaning, or good reading, you'd proudly say 'because I'm 4 years old already'.  You identify with being a helper. Once after you helped me feed Frank, I called you 'little helper for feeding dog'. The next day when I was standing by Frank's food, you bounced to me and said 'mama I really like it when you call me little helper for feeding dogs'. You've been feeding Frank since.  One night you and Ella both wanted to take a toy rider upstairs to bed. You picked the metal cart, Ella picked the lady bug. Ella took hers up one step, and started to whine to me (cutely with squeaky voice) 'I...

4 year old Ella is a straight shooter. Once you wanted to take soft soft (flannel pajamas) with you to bed, but your hands were too full with other stuff, that you were also taking to bed. You looked at me, barked 'carry them for me'. Turned and led the way.  Once you went to bed without your soft soft, when I reminded you, you turned around on the stairs (arms full of toys), closed your eyes, leaned back, wailed with your high clear voice 'meeemeowwmaameow', looked at me, barked 'Carry them for me!" As I was picking them up, you noticed Mimi coming upstairs with a basket. You pointed at the basket, barked 'put them inside!' Mimi happily said 'oh I help you carry upstairs'. I put the pajamas in, and Mimi carried them up.  Once you ordered me to sing twinkle twinkle little star with you. After we sang a verse, you said 'hmm we need to sing by the blinds'. We went to the blinds and sang a few verses, then you said 'hmm we have to look ...

Mimi: I call lotion protection sauce (保护酱) After explaining to them the difference between lotion and soap. Mimi said this.  Ella: baba made me mad because he said Saturn has no ball. There's only a ring, the ball disappeared.

Ella typed half of age of 8s. Said it was her record from birth to death. I noticed there was an '0.' in the middle of all the 8s. I asked what it was. She said it was a that day we went to mud bay. (We went to blackie spit today and mentioned mud bay a few times) I found my earbud cushion missing. I angrily asked the girls who did it. They were doing their night play happily in their room. Ella said quietly '是我sorry妈妈'. I was very angry and asked her to find it or get slapped. After looking for it for a bit. She said '我可以忍受疼'. I looked at her, she raised her hand for me to slap. I put each side of the earbud on her, and asked which side feels off. She said the side without cushion isn't as comfortable. I gave her a big hug and said I forgive her, but please try to remember she put the cushion. She ran around the room and looked more. Said she was timing out when she took the cushion. James went to the Canvas org holiday party to network. I went to bright horizon to pick up the girls by myself. Teacher told me Ella had a tough morning. Even though the girls were in the same class this day. Teacher reported Ella wanted to wipe her nose. When teacher checked, she had stuck a ball of paper up her nose and teacher couldn't get it out. They encouraged her to blow, and finally she blew out two balls. The girls potties and went to the car smoothly. They chatted with each other what McQueen and Jackson would do at microsoft. We were stuck on 40th for about 20 minutes. Finally arrived at building 36.  We went to 2nd floor where I stocked the food in the fridge. The girls lingered by the area by the elevator. They amused themselves with the poster of a shark catching up to a man (dev who made mistake?). Mimi got grumpy and threw her socks and shoes in the compost bin. I didn't notice she was angry while I was preparing food. Once I got to her she seemed ok. And ask...

This was after the sunday where James and I flipped up on Mimi peeing in the room and broke the owl seat. The girls had an easy morning. While Mimi peed she kept saying four four two, four four one, four four four, etc. Ella peed on the way onto the toilet. I cleaned her up and we still left really early. When we were leaving Ella asked formally 妈妈我想要一个久和胜的卡片。I gave her a new midoriya card. She happily exclaimed 'JIU!'. James took her to the car while I packed lunch. James came back and said Mimi saw Ella's card and also wanted a 英雄卡片。I gave her lida and she was really happy. In the car Ella cutely said 我不喜欢去幼儿园。我要带久去幼儿园. At one point Ella said 久扎了我的眼睛。I asked what happened and she didn't say anything. She looked fine. We arrived at little folks. James wanted the girls to leave the cards in the car. Mimi did. Ella hugged her card close, gave cerned face and said 我要给ms julie 看久。And started to squeak. We let her have the card and gave Mimi her card. The girls showed pe...

11/8 James and I took the day off while kids were in daycare. We went to Starbucks reserve, pineapple match bubble tea (just ok), walked around capital hill. After getting back I was really sleepy. I laid in bed, don't even know if I fell asleep at some point or not, until it was time to pick up the kids. 11/9 Morning - leave pictures Ella whined about being afraid of thunder striking her dead and wouldn't come with me. (A couple days ago we were out splashing and suddenly there was thunder. Ella paused for couple seconds then ran to the door crying.) Mimi stomped too hard and splashed all the way up to her coat. I threatened Ella with crepe cake and finally got her outside. I criticized the girls for some time. Neighbda said hi on his way to the car, broke our tension and we continued to have some splash time. Afternoon - travel Ella and I watched frozen on the plane.
