Mimi skipped nap today, when usually it's Ella who wouldn't sleep on the weekends. After we left Costco, Ella said 憋不住了。I asked her to hold it in until we stop. We got to Vivi, Ella asked 这是什么地方。I asked her if she'd like to go to the toilet with me, she said 不用了。我没有尿。。。这是什么地方。I said it was the bathroom and I'll go by myself if she didn't need. She was quiet and I left. James reported Ella fell asleep soon after.
Once I ordered the tea I needed to poop. Just when I sat down, I hear James talking outside to someone about how I'm probably in the bathroom and Mimi had to go to the bathroom. I quickly pooped some logs and opened the door, finding James talking to his ex report nan, and a Mimi by his side. I got Mimi in the bathroom, she sat for a while and didn't pee. We returned to the car, the rest of my poopergy disappeared too. We drove to the woodinville safeway and back and Mimi was still awake.
She came into the house and wanted to pee. She indeed peed. I asked her to not flush. She sneakily went and flushed the toilet while I washed my hands. I said she did a bad thing. She started crying sadly. I left her to give her some time. She cried very sadly. I came back later and thanked her for buying the avocados from the shopping list, that I really wanted to eat. She stopped crying, then whimpered "Ba ba". I asked if she wanted to see ba ba, she nodded, and held my hands and went to the kitchen. We roamed a little and Mimi said she 憋不住了, sat on the toilet for a while and nothing came out.
James took her upstairs and closed the door, hoping she would nap. Mimi cried upstairs. After 20 minutes I got Ella up. When we cleaned up in the bathroom, ba ba took Mimi down and reported Mimi had pooped in her pants. Ba ba cleaned up her pants while I put on new pants for her. Mimi kept asking 我的裤子呢。I asked her to flush her poop away. She did. She then said to me in a serious voice with some cern： 爸爸把我锁在楼上了。我憋不住了。但是爸爸把我锁在楼上了。We apologized to Mimi.
We had a sitter from college sitters over for the afternoon. She barely talked and followed the girls everywhere. We were disappointed in the sitter, but go to see the girls leading play with a stranger. Ella was more playful, built tall lego tower on top of lego car with Brittany, while saying "dinosaur yerrrr" repeatedly. "Dinosaur yerrr" and some yes and no were about the only words the girls spoke with the sitter. Brittany read little blue truck, Ella made the animal sounds, and said some words, including little blue truck in a very heavy accent. Mimi chuckled when Ella and Brittany made the animal sounds. James and I took turns being downstairs with the girls, cooking in the kitchen or eating, and spent some time hiding in the bathroom together discussing how to post a better job to attract a better sitter. Mimi opened up after an hour and was playing with Ella and interacting with Brittany with some yeerrrrs. When Brittany was leaving and saying goodbye, Ella said 亲爱的阿姨为什么要坐啊。我想念阿姨。Then ran off to play. The girls watched Brittany drive her car away.
