Mimi yelled MAMA loudly from upstairs. I asked her what was the matter. She yelled even louder 我要我的羹匙儿。I asked her to ask nicely. She lowered her volume and said 我要我的羹匙儿。I asked where was the polite word. She said 它在楼下。I asked where was the "please". She asked nicely with 可以么妈妈。I got a white spoon from downstairs and gave it to her. She tried to grab it and run away. I held on and asked her to say thank you. She gave me a good firm "thank you". At the same time Ella ran to the gate, she held a spoon, said thank you loudly, then 我们可以一起吃啦。The girls ran away together.

The girls had an altercation later and when I went up Mimi wanted the red pillow. I asked her to ask Ella, and reminded Ella of Mimi's kindness the previous day. Mimi pouted and said 我不想问Ella。我怕她不答应。I prompted again, she repeated again, then said 妈妈帮我问。I asked Ella a few times, with her replying she wanted the pillow and the pillow and her belonged to each other, with a lot of answers starting with 嗯。。但是。Mimi started to wail. I told her a story of when I was in school, I did homework for someone who when found out by the teacher, blamed me. Trying to say it was hard trying to be nice. Mimi seemed comforted and asked me to tell the story again. I asked her to go to her bed first. She said 但是我不喜欢花枕头。I said she didn't need a pillow. She said 姐姐把她的玩具放在我床上了。There was a piece of lego on the bed. I asked her to take it away. She said 好的。Ran to the lego, picked it up, and chucked it on the carpet hard. She then said she didn't like the flower pillow again. I asked her if she wanted to use the pooh bear pillow. She said 我不喜欢pooh枕头。我喜欢枕头形状的枕头。I asked her if she wanted the flower pillow, she said 我要花枕头。I tucked her in, told the story again, then two more times by her request, then when asked again, informed her it had to wait till morning. I kissed and tucked both girls and left. They seemed to have fallen asleep. Mimi woke up later in the night but was easily put down again after I pet her for a minute.
