We went to the backyard to play while james chopped the fallen branches. Mimi scooted on the motorcycle, pretending to be lai de. The girls explored different parts of the yard with the stick James gave them, James even gave me a super long one. We walked and poked and beat leaves. We came back to the deck. Ella rode the motorcycle, then kept saying it was broken, and lai de couldn't ride it anymore. Mimi eyed here now and then. I asked her if she wanted to ride the motorcycle she only needed to ask Mimi. Ella ran to Mimi, said 我可以骑你的摩托车么。Mimi 可以'ed. The girls played some more with the sticks. Ella came back to ride the motorcycle with the same statement that it was broken so lai de couldn't ride it. I recorded a video, Mimi might have a little reluctant, I didn't feel it in the moment, she never gave permission, they had a brief struggle, but Mimi saw Ella riding and was ok with it.

Mimi went to dig stones for 肥料 for the mulch. Ella asked me to push different buttons on the motorcycle with her. Then I noticed Mimi stirring the little toy pot with her long stick awkwardly. I asked her what she was making. She excitedly said 我给汪队做狗粮奖励。Ella called for me to push button with her more. Mimi came in a bit, offered the pot to Ella. Ella brushed it away, said 我现在是猫。Mimi tried again, Ella brushed more forcefully. Mimi threw the pot away, and tried to hit Ella. I intercepted. I tried to fit the food with their pretend play, but Ella kept saying 不要。Mimi was silent and slapped the air. Mimi then walked to the pot, kneeled down, bent her back, with butt in the air, burried her face on the deck. I petted her and pulled her up gently, she had the cutest crying face, she let out a long wail, two tears streamed down her cheeks. I tried to comfort her. She stared at me with big teary eyes. When I stopped talking, she made a cute cry face, let out a long wail, two tears streamed down her cheeks. James came after a bit, I asked her to tell James about her sad event. She said 姐姐坏。姐姐做了我的食物的坏事。She calmed down after some James pets. We made the girls came inside because it was getting dark and cold. The girls came inside, refused some snacks, then started pretend play happily again.

4 year old Ella is a straight shooter. Once you wanted to take soft soft (flannel pajamas) with you to bed, but your hands were too full with other stuff, that you were also taking to bed. The girls were taken to the airport. At the airport parking the girls ran into Peter's 2 year old son. Boy was not happy that Mimi was sitting beside him, his mom explained that boy was terrorized by a little girl cousin. Although the girls are also mean little ones, they were too focused on the car ride to terrorize boy. Mimi nonstop said "Mimi 坐车", "车走", with occasional "树叶". At the airport the girls glued to the window to see the "打飞机", "大车". Xiao E said "di di woo" everytime a car drove by. Mimi was occasionally distracted by the "好大水", a puddle from dripping water by the steps beneath the window. Xiao E discovered the crack between the two rows of chairs was her size, and squeezed all the way to the middle of the row in the crack. Lao lao reported xiao E said "xiao woo ma ma 坐这里". And pointed at ba ba's computer chair outside the fence. (This was the first report of "woo ma ma". Later it was revealed by "woo ma ma", xiao E was referring to herself). Lao lao taught the girls to say song yue and jay mu 死. By the time the adults got camera out, ba ba's name had became sparky. When the adults came home after work, Xiao E was unhappy to see them. She nonono'ed. She was taken to high chair. She continued to whine. Lao lao was afraid it was because she didn't nap. First bite of meat into xiao E's mouth, xiao E munched and stopped whining, no more whining afterwards. She remained happy the entire evening. Xiao E ate almost all the yogurt oat bao. Mimi only took a small lip touch of the yogurt. She spit a little, looked at ma ma, hit her head, said "bad bad".
