We left early to go to Bellevue square for snowflake lane. We came in and Mimi went straight for a christmas tree with decorations. She was so excited about the "圣诞球。" She said 球儿 loudly and cutely with a long curl of the tongue for 儿, and almost sounded like 取儿。 When I got a video she wasn't pronouncing it as hard.

We headed for Kikuza ramen. Godiva was on the way. Ella was holding my hand and walking when she spotted it. She stood still, let out a loud "ahhhhh", said "我要这个东西", "我要吃这个圣诞东西"。 The girls looked longingly for a while, but responded to calls to move forward by ba ba and me. On the rest of the walk, Ella said "我不要圣诞面条。我已经吃饱了。我只能喝水了。" I got a water out and tried to offer to her, she chuckled and accepted it, hugged it and walked to the restaurant.

The girls ate well. Lao lao reported their last meal was at noon where they each ate two chicken drumsticks. After eating a bunch of noodle, Mimi worked on lao lao's soup, almost drinking all. We found a ladybug in James's half finished soup and got a new one, we then all finished eating, and Mimi was still drinking soup. With soup all over her chin. Spoon by spoon slowly slurping all the soup. Ella by then had asked for some water in her bowl and was spooning too. We took away the bowls and headed downstairs to play. Then we went to snowflake lane.

At the end of snowflake lane, Mimi waved to a stilts girl, and the girl gave her a lollipop. Since the girls already had their lollipop, I took it, and gave her mine, which has the chocolate center left. She became whiny afterwards regardless, either because of the candy, or we cut escalator riding short. Almost at the gate, I said to her sternly to not whine and let us know what was wrong. She said sadly "想念姥爷。" I asked if it was 圣诞老爷。 She said "是春光姥爷。"

On the walk back to the car, in the mall we walked through a workshop kind of setup, there was a Santa sitting inside, but no one in line for pictures. The girls stared at Santa. A boy came and joined in the staring. Santa took out some lollipops. All us adults hid from sight hoping they wouldn't go for the lollipops. The girls indeed stood in place and stared. The boy stared too, eventually the boy's dad got a lollipop for the boy. I called for the girls and they came with us. We stood by the gears for a while, the girls liked looking at it. We then walked away, Ella said "圣诞老人一个人很孤单。拿出棒棒糖给小男孩。" 棒棒 pronounced very hard.

On the way home, lao lao asked the girls if they saw 指挥 during the parade. Ella said she didn't, Mimi said she did, lao lao said Ella missed the zhi hui. The girls then started repeating "姥姥看到了指挥", "Ella错过了指挥", "姐姐错过了指挥", "Mimi看到了指挥", "Mimi和姥姥看到了指挥", "Mimi错过了指挥", with "但是" in between. We still don't know if Mimi saw the zhi hui.

When it was time to go upstairs, Ella asked for milk, then Mimi joined. They both finished their cup, then went upstairs happily. They both happily ran into their bedroom when Ella remembered she wanted to tuck lao lao in. The girls did, and went down easily.
