I woke early 3 days in a row from stuffed nose. The girls started whining at 8am. I went in and found two girls half sitting up on bed looking at me. The blanket Ella gave me yesterday was still by her bed. I tucked the girls in, then laid by Ella's bed, put the blanket on. The girls were excited by the 小毛妈。 Ella repeatedly sat up and pet me with squashed face and super fast strikes with super flat palm. Mimi walked around me, repeated "踩小毛妈。" Luckily she didn't step on me, just walked on the blanket around me. Ella also gave me infinite kisses. Ba ba came in and the girls took the girls downstairs. I laid for 10 more minutes and went down to clean up.
The girls were eating in the kitchen. I loaded some toys in the laundry room to prepare for visit to E's. Ella looked at me and said "今天我们不去幼儿园。" I agreed and informed her 大大后天 will be daycare. She said "今天不是大大后天。" I agreed.
I gave the girls 米粒儿老师 while changing diaper. I then put the ipad on the little piano for them to watch while I cleaned the infinite crumbs accumulated in the kitchen this week. When I came back, I noticed Mimi was writing on the piano with her finger as 米粒儿老师 wrote. She looked at me and asked for paper. I moved the ipad to the table and gave the girls crayons and paper, the girls fidget wrote while watching.
After cleaning I found the girls running circles around the couch, threw the to go bags of wipes everywhere. I asked if they'd like to go out for a walk or pushed by me in the 小蓝车。 Both girls asked to ride 小蓝车。 We dressed and prepared to go. Mimi's chosen companion for the ride was a bag of wipes. In the laundry room the girls found ba ba's sodas and shook them, I asked them to give to ba ba and then did. They came back in the laundry room and found empty cans in the recycle bag, I asked them to each take one, they did gladly and went and crawled into the cart. I buckled them and we headed out. I listened to music and walked for 50 minutes plus.
We walked past the deflated santa and the deflated snowman. The girls commented on them being 憋了。When I passed the snowman, Mimi lightly whimpered 要下来。 I asked if we could walk a loop before getting off the stroller. Mimi said "我想和灯灯打招呼。" I pushed her to the tree lights. She extended her hand, then said "不是这个灯。我想和我的小红灯打招呼。" I pushed them back past snowman and to the bush where Mimi's favorite right lights hang, she said "hi" and waved for a while. I asked if she finished saying hi, she said she was, we went on.
On the walk, during on down slope I jogged. After I slowed down to go up the hill, Ella requested "快一点快一点" while thumping her little feet on the cart. I informed her it was only possible down the hill. She stopped asking but kept on thumping. She asked for 快一点 on everytime I slowed down.
We walked past a berry bush, I let the girls pick a berry each. As I turned, Mimi quickly said "我的梅掉了。" I let her pick one, then Ella wanted another one and I let her pick. After we got home, I found Mimi's hand all orange. I used the wipes she brought and wiped her hand. I found both berries on Ella's seat, also both Mimi's despite her saying she dropped one, one was squished.
We walked past a persimmon tree. It was such a good tree with suck good persimmons. Mimi asked to pick. I slowly walked to the tree, extended my hand, then hit it, said it was not mine to pick. I did it again, asked the girls if I could pick, Mimi softly said "可以。你摘吧。" I slapped my hand again. I tried again and Mimi softly encouraged me to pick again. We left.
We came home. The girls came down, I asked if they'd like to go inside, Mimi said she wanted to play in 后院。 I led them to the back yard. The girls walked and looked around. They commented about the 李子没了， and pinewheel broken. We heard a woof, I said I'll go check out 大黄，Ella said "不可以大黄狗会不高兴的。" She held my hand, walked towards the fence, said "不要一个人看。两个人一起看。" There was no dog.
Mimi said she wanted to eat crackers, I knocked on the door, ba ba opened the door, we went in the back door. The girls ate a lot. I handed them food after food, while finishing their half eaten corn and a matcha latte ba ba made.
Ella wanted to take cookies in the car, I offered her an hourglass, she gladly took it, put it in her mouth, a lot was in her mouth. She said "这是我的雪糕。" Ella started snoring while we got to the intersaction by redmond woodinville road. Mimi fell asleep when we checked on her at the shell before highway.
I went in and chatted with Elena for half hour, then went to the car and woke up the girls. They stirred in the car, I left them there with ba ba. After another 10 minutes ish ba ba brought the girls in. They were right in time to see the snowball fight in Elf and immediately were glued. After a while they noticed the reindeer by the TV that Elena put out for them. Mimi went to it and softly pet and hugged it. Ella did the same, then started making out with it, so many kisses. Mimi eventually carried it down from the table and held it in her arms everywhere she went.
Food was ready by 4. Ella said she wanted bread, I asked if it was the sandwich looking food, she said yes. I went to the table and found out it was apple pie. E mentioned it was the least sweet apple pie, so I got it. Ella indeed loved it. I took a bite to try, she slapped my hand, cern'ed very much, said "你不可以偷吃我的甜三明治。" After she finished, she took Mimi's, which Mimi ignored while glued to watching Elf, said "Mimi不吃了。" And started eating it.
Ba ba finished eating and watched Elf with the girls. Ba ba came back to the table and offered Mimi some sweet pizza. Mimi tried some and kept eating it at the table. Ba ba went back to the couch to watch TV. I slowly finished my plate. After a long time I heard Mimi ask for another piece, I already forgot she was there, she had diligently finished her previous piece, leaving a little big of crust. The 2nd piece she pulled apart in half, and finished all the fillings, left more crust.
We watched harry potter. There were a few scary scenes, like snake, hagrid entrance, and voldermont. When they happened Ella would say "ma ma ma ma ma ma" quickly and scout to me, get in my arms, say "我有点害怕。" Always 有点。
The girls started pretending to be frogs. At the 2nd part of the movie Ella asked for some pumpkin pie I was eating and finished almost all of it. Mimi asked for pie too and I gave her some. She then kept coming back asking for pie, saying " 我要甜pizza呱呱", like a frog.
They finished, and after a while Mimi saw the banana on the kitchen table and asked for one. Ella saw the apple in the same basket and asked for one. They chomped while watching TV. Ella eventually finished the whole apple, Elena was impressed.
We we were leaving, Arman lifted and cheeked Ella. Ella struggled but did not whine. Arman passed Ella to me, Ella said "我不要这个怪叔叔做我的朋友。" Steve stood by the staircase and extended his hand for high five. Ella gave him a high five. Mimi dragged the lego bag on the ground behind her, raised her arm from a few steps away until she gave a high five, then dragged the lego back to the shoes. Ella got my shoes and ran to me, threw it in front of me, ordered me to put them on. I offered her an opportunity to hug the aunties and uncles. She did.
After getting home we read a couple books. The girls wanted cookie so they did. When changing diaper, Ella said "破了。" I asked where, she said "膝盖。" Indeed the skin was broken, yesterday when we were at Tony's house looking at the lights Ella fell and whined over her hurt knee for a while. I asked Ella if it 破了 from falling, she said "是的。Mimi撞头的时候撞破的。" They did hit their head together today and she complained to E.
Mimi tantrumed on the floor, unable to tell us why. After 10 minutes ba ba busted out you are shock from fist of the north star. The girls crowded him. We showed hey cha la, then sailor moon, which Mimi expressed not want, then ya ba ba. Afterwards ba ba asked which was Mimi's favorite, Mimi quickly said "ya ba ba." I asked Ella, who also answered ya ba ba, but then she said "我要看hey cha la." I asked Ella if she like ya ba ba more or hey cha la more, she thought for a bit, said "我更喜欢ya ba ba... 我要看hey cha la."
We took the girls to bed, they both went up easily. Ella laid down, then stood up, said "我忘了小软兔。" She got my hand, said "我们一起下楼找小软兔吧。" She was too cute so I had to come downstairs with her. I went to the computer room, I asked her where was the soft bunny, she said "在厨房。" Very surely. We went to the kitchen, she stood by the table and looked and looked, said "不在这里。" I walked around the dining table, indeed saw soft bunny, Ella followed me, said "看。长颈鹿盖软软的小被。" There was indeed a towel on giraffe's back. Ella spotted the soft bunny, picked it up, and we went upstairs. Ella said "小软兔是我从姥姥姥爷家带回来的。" We laid with the girls for half a minute and stood to leave. Ella sat up and gave me the soft bunny, said "妈妈把他拿下楼。" I asked her if she was sure, she said "他不要在楼上。" I took it downstairs, the girls made no sounds.
