Mom and I drove the girls to daycare today because James had his doctor's appointment. The adults sat in the front and the girlbeans chatted in the back. Ella started singing itsy bitsy spider. It was cute and lao lao loved it, kept asking if she learnt it from daycare, Ella ignored question and kept singing. She then started singing the itsy bitsy xiao folks, with spider (and some other words) replaced by a loud and bursty xiao folks, then later just FOLKS. It made Mimi laugh out loud. After Ella finished Mimi requested 再唱一次。Ella sang again, with Mimi laughing loudly throughout the song. When Ella finished Mimi requested 再唱一次。They did this conversation a few more times, while Ella only sang a couple verses each time. After Mimi requested 再唱一次。 Ella said 但是这次你要学。Ella sang 'the itsy bitsy folks went up the water spout', then stopped. Mimi sang the same. Ella sang the next verse, Mimi followed. They finished the song while laughing hard. Mimi requested 再唱一次。Ella requested Mimi to learn again. Mimi said 我要大的。Ella sang the itsy bitsy big big folks went up the water spout. The girls laughed hard and sang. Mimi then requested 我要大大大的。Ella sang with a deep throated voice, the itsy bitsy big big big folks went up the water spout. The girls repeated until we arrived at daycare.
We were early to daycare and dropped off the girls in the gym. Mimi hang onto lao lao, even Ella made whimpers. I instructed lao lao to go, the teacher called for the girls and they went to teacher. There was no crying while we left.
