Ella was playing filling me as train up with gas. The holiday train arrived at the other side of the street. The girls both went to the fence to look. Ella turned first, looked at Mimi, who was standing still at the fence, said "嗯。。你也是一辆小火车吗。你也坏了吗。" Then she tried to lead Mimi back to fill gas, but Mimi went wild, then Ella went wild.




At night ba ba and I took the girls upstairs. I tucked Ella in, ba ba laid on the guest bed after tucking Mimi in. Ella said "妈妈去大床上睡吧。和孤单的爸爸一个人在大床上睡吧。"

ella letter 4 year old

4 year old Ella is a straight shooter. Once you wanted to take soft soft (flannel pajamas) with you to bed, but your hands were too full with other stuff, that you were also taking to bed. You looked at me, barked 'carry them for me'. Turned and led the way.  Once you went to bed without your soft soft, when I reminded you, you turned around on the stairs (arms full of toys), closed your eyes, leaned back, wailed with your high clear voice 'meeemeowwmaameow', looked at me, barked 'Carry them for me!" As I was picking them up, you noticed Mimi coming upstairs with a basket. You pointed at the basket, barked 'put them inside!' Mimi happily said 'oh I help you carry upstairs'. I put the pajamas in, and Mimi carried them up.  Once you ordered me to sing twinkle twinkle little star with you. After we sang a verse, you said 'hmm we need to sing by the blinds'. We went to the blinds and sang a few verses, then you said 'hmm we have to look

Ba ba reported in the morning the girls didn't get along. There was a lot of fighting over who gets to play with which toy and Mimi always lost. She was pretty upset. Given their fussiness, they were released from their play area before we went out for the day. They wandered around the house, grabbed some paper and some markers, and ran to their little desk. They each sat down and pretended to doodle on the paper. The marker caps were still on to protect the walls. I watched peppa with the girls, while pausing and quizzing them what was going on. They got some questions, like where was George's dinosaur? They answered "丢了".

mimi letter 4 years old

4 year old Mimi is a proud Mimi. When you accomplish something, you skip around the room. (Like riding a horse, one leg in the front, one leg in the back, never crossing each other, shuffles in one direction until hitting a wall, then turn around and do it the other way)  Things you're proud of:  Being 4 years old. When I praise you, for good counting, good cleaning, or good reading, you'd proudly say 'because I'm 4 years old already'.  You identify with being a helper. Once after you helped me feed Frank, I called you 'little helper for feeding dog'. The next day when I was standing by Frank's food, you bounced to me and said 'mama I really like it when you call me little helper for feeding dogs'.
