In the morning I was greeted by an Ella with a bunny in arm in bed. She sweetly chuckled at me. We held hands and went downstairs, dodging the pooch lunging at us from different directions. After coming downstairs, I went to the bathroom to pee. Ella cutely followed and stayed with me in the bathroom. Ba ba had heated milk so I went to get a cup from the table, so Ella could drink milk with accompanying me in the bathroom. She asked to see my pee, and cutely peeked behind my butt, then went back to drinking milk while I cleaned up. Mimi came down with mashmarrow bunny now and joined us in the bathroom. I informed Mimi the bunny's name is mashmarrow. Mimi said "不是！它是小白兔。不是小灰兔。" I said he's a 小白兔 named mashmarrow. Mimi chuckled, but continued to call it 小白兔。Ba ba cleaned up and offered them some crackers, and the girls left.
I quickly cleaned up and joined them. Ella saw me and said "你是小兔乖乖的妈妈么？" Mimi said "不是。小兔乖乖是我的朋友。" I said I'm the bunny's grandma. And ba ba was bunny's grandpa. Mimi laughingly said "小兔的老爷是大灰狼。" Then they assigned me dinosaur grandma to scare bunny, so they could protect it. Mimi asked for some 柿子，the girls shared one. James and I realized we haven't diapered the girls, so we quickly did the morning routine and loaded the car. Both girls climbed into their car seats by themselves.
In the car we listened to some stories, then drew. Mimi drew nicely, filling pusheen's little circles. Ella got frustrated her car seat was too tight and gave me the box table, then dedicated herself to trying to lift her left shoulder, which she was not successful at. The girls snacked on chex after drawing, while Ella occasionally tried to struggle out. Mimi searched for pretzle pieces, whenever she found one she would lift it and ask me "这是什么。" No matter what I said, she would chuckle, eat until there's a little piece left, then put it back in the box and find another one. Ella only searched for the "橘黄色的" pieces.
Ella was distraught when we got to daycare, and Mimi seemed distraught for Ella. I gave Mimi the I and 9 cards I made as their homework. Mimi gave back to me, then pointed at 9 and said "我要这个。" The 9 seemed to have comforted her a little. I tired to give her the I, she said it was not hers, ba ba asked her to keep it for Ella and she did.
The girls were eating at the table next to each other at pickup. We came in, and Haleemah hurriedly gave each girl a sweet ball, a part of the Diwali celebration at daycare. The girls happily chomped. Hallemah said the girls had some before nap and loved them, studied the table afterwards and pinched all flakes. Ella held up the dessert to Haleemah, said "yellow!". Haleemah said "almost."
The girls slowly ate the dessert. Until Mimi finished half, then threw the last half in her mouth and ate in a few chomps. When we started changing shoes Ella still had more than half left, but when we left she had nothing.
The girls found a puddle by building 36 door. From a clogged drain. The girls stared at it asking each other what it was. The slowly approached and finally Ella asked "妈妈我可以去踩水坑吗。"
Despite ba ba's warnings I let the girls stomp on the shallow end. Lily was back from a walking meeting and came to say hi. The girls started running away from her happily, Lilly chased them to the cafe door then back into the puddle. We chatted a bit and when I noticed the girls were stomping hard on the deep end, all wet. I asked Mimi to touch haibao's tail and see if it was wet, she touched, said "不湿", and gave it to me. I offered it back to her saying it'd be ok if she hugged haibao tight. She said "妈妈拿着。"
I joked with the girls that the puddle was a trap, the girls got scared and wouldn't play anymore. We walked into the cafe, took off the wet shoes, ba ba tried to squeeze out the water from Mimi's pants, I didn't do anything for Ella, she didn't complain. We pretend played a little, then I asked if the girls would like to go back to the puddle more. Mimi said "不要了。" I said the 鬼怪 had gone away. Mimi said "不要了。" I asked if she disliked being wet. Mimi said "我不喜欢湿。"
I gave Mimi the letter puzzle, she immediately did a few, seemed to have remembered from the previous time. She took the I and said "他的家是小虫", and put it on the insect. She laugh accused the whale for doing bad things. Ella joined in and the girls played together until lao lao came.
Lao lao didn't distract the girls and sat on the back. After the girls finished their pieces, I asked them to look behind them to see what's there. Lao lao play covered her face. The girls looked around and around and were confused, seemed to have seen nothing. I asked them to look at who was sitting on the chair. The girls excitedly claimed it was a laolao 藏起来了。
We came home and were greeted by a Mimi holding a mirror looking at herself while walking down the hall. Ba ba asked what she was looking at, she said "我看自己", and smiled sweetly while still looking in the mirror.
I was playing with Ella. Mimi came fake cried "我的兔兔死了eeee。" I asked Mimi if she needed help. She said "好的。" Turned and went upstairs, said "妈妈来吧。" She got into her bedroom and pointed at the table with the toy box storage. I found mashmerrow tu hiding behind a box, and gave it to her.
The girls pretend played sleepy time and tucked in their toys cutely, then rudely pulled them out of bed for morning. Suddenly Mimi yelled "房间好脏！", then "快妈妈我们要轰隆隆。给我大龙虾。" I got the lobster push toy from the box for her, she pushed and pulled it on one spot violently, said repeatedly with the fastest speed "轰隆隆轰隆隆..."
The girls had been calling themselves their toy's ma ma and ba ba. Ella always the mama, grandma, or great grandma. Mimi always the baba, grandpa, or great grandpa. James came up the stairs, the girls looked at him, Mimi said "大灰狼！" James pretended to eat their bunnies. The girls started whining and crying and looking real distressed. I got a sheep toy and offered ba ba, ba ba ate it, came back for the girls. I got another sheep toy, we stared at each other, Ella said "你吃吧。他很好吃。" I threw the flower sheep to ba ba, ba ba ate it, came back for the girls. Mimi started "打！" ba ba as violently as she could, swung mashmerrow tu as hard as she could, which swung very wide. The girls were chased to bed, Mimi said "你不可以吃它。它是我的弟弟！" She swung again, the bunny flew out of her hand, and she plopped down on the bed from inertia, ba ba ate her.
I asked the girls to put back their milk cups in the fridge. They really did, Ella made extra effort to put it on the top shelf, where it usually resides. Then Mimi noticed the lemon juice on the door and asked for it. The sour sour sour lemon juice. I gave Mimi a small spoonful, she drank it without any facial expression, seemed to be savoring. I gave Ella a small spoonful, she sipped a little, then made a tiny sour expression, which quickly disappeared. Mimi wanted more. I gave her another spoonful. Ella wanted more, she took another little sip. Mimi wanted more, I told her tomorrow she can have more, the girls left without asking again.
I sent a message to Lily on Kakao, with an emoticon of a bear carrying a basket of hearts, then dumping them. Mimi saw it and said "他不要他的苹果。。。他不要他的苹果。"
