In the morning Ella stood at lao lao's door. Said things along the lines of "我等姥姥起床。天亮了姥姥要醒来了。我要看姥姥。" On her roaming around the top of the floor between her room and lao lao's, she noticed the lao ye hat hanging on the wall between the bathroom and the front door on the 1st floor. I used it last night when walking Frank in the rain. Ella said things along the lines of "姥爷不在。看姥爷的帽子挂在墙上。可是姥爷没有来。"
We rushed in the morning since we were late and I wanted to go to Midori to pick up something for our ladies visit to Zhiying and baby Ethan. I realized we forgot a candy bucket upstairs, so I grabbed it and came down. The girls noticed the candy and demanded. I gave each one candy to hold. They asked to open wrapper. I informed them it's only possible after they drink their milk. On the ride, the girls started calling for 小龙, referring to the candy as 龙糖, and demanded to eat 龙糖。 I informed them it was only possible after drinking 龙奶。 Mimi immediately said "龙奶难喝。" Ella drank half a bottle, then stopped and only fake drunk. Turned out Midori wasn't open. I chatted with Mimi about her 脏糖，which she corrected to 棕色的糖。I turned and saw Ella has taken a bite through the candy wrapper and happily chewing. I quickly took away the candy. Ella was a little distraught and asked for it repeatedly, but not too bad. I offered her the staples box with paper to draw, she happily accepted and drew all over the page. Mimi intermittently asked for drawing too and drew a little in between eating gold fish.
Ella seemed happy to go to daycare, said "Ella喜欢上学", smiled while she ran to the door. But once inside the door she started crying, and not letting go of my legs. She was preyed away. At pick up Haleemah showed us photos of the girls in costumes and dancing.
When we got to the daycare, Ella ran to me and said "我臭。" Haleemah changed her, while she danced happily while laying on the changing table. Mimi kept saying "我们去要糖。今天是鬼节。" We walked pass the blackberries and picked one for Mimi. We walked by the mushrooms while the girls asked what it was like every daycare day. We walked by the pine trees while Ella asked what was on the tree like every other daycare day.
We parked by building 36 and dressed the girls. We went upstairs. Ella used her 如意棒 as cane. We went to james's office, where he was informed he had to wear a poop costume. I took the girls to my office to get buckets while ba ba dressed. When we passed the stairs, a young guy was running up the stairs, he saw the girls and claimed they were cute, and offered them one each of a huge candy bar, which was the only thing he had in his hand. The girls tentatively took it, Ella said thank you when I prompted.
The girls spotted graphics bear from a long way and started asking what it was, I asked if it was grabay熊, they were silent and mesmerized. We went to Qiben's office. Qiben managed to get very cute photos of the girls. Qiben offered free hugs, the girls ignored her, Mimi turned around, started yelling "BA BA! BA BA!" Qiben reminded them she had candy. The girls walked fast back to her. Ella gave Qiben a hug, threw her candy bar into Qiben's bucket. We laughed at her. Qiben offered Ella a piece of candy and she took. Mimi also gave Qiben a hug and took a piece of candyh. Then they each took another piece of candy. Then they each took another piece of candy. I got buckets for the girls. Ella went back to Qiben's bowl grabbed her two bars and put in her bucket.
Ba ba caught up with his poop costume with Lily. Ella said "Ella变成了孙悟空。Mimi变成了唐三藏。爸爸变成了大龙。" We corrected her ba ba had turned into poop. The girls whined about eating candy all the way. Stopping every now and then to state ba ba was 大便. Then back to demanding candy. Ella took a few pieces of candy, even put couple in Mimi's bowl. Mimi only had what Qiben gave her. We went to James's team area and Mimi took a candy from a bowl. The girls loved some bowls and ignored others. When they liked a bowl they crowded there taking many pieces. Their favorites were Lily's bunny gummies, which they kept asking "这是兔兔吗。兔兔里边是什么。" and a bowl with tattoos and unknown things, the tatoo box was a cat, and the girls kept asking "这是猫吗。猫里边是什么。" We made it to James's office, where he chatted with coworkers. Mimi asked what was on the table in the hallway. I thought it was peanut, only to find out it was peanut shaped candy when I opened the wrapper. I gave to an eagerly grabbing Mimi, and one to Ella, they ate happily while sitting in the kitchen by James's office. After they finished candy we started journey again. Lily went back to get some peanut candy just in case, Mimi called for "Lily姐姐" and refused to go with us, until Lily returned.
We headed to my office. Mimi walked slower and slower, when I asked her to catch up, she said "桶好重。" I extended my hand and she gave me the bucket. After a while, she came to me and snapped the bucket back, said "妈妈不可以偷我们桶。" After a while she complained about 桶好重 again, I carried again, and after a while she snapped it back again blaming me for stealing. Ella handed James a candy, after a while she noticed it in James's hand, said "这不是大便的糖。"
James went to get lao lao. Lily offered the peanut candies and bit us goodbye. The girls ate my scone, bit through some reese cups and I finally spooned one reese cup for them, and a tube of smarties. Jackie and Evelyn showed up, Ella gave them each a piece of candy. Jackie and Evelyn happily reported to Qiben about Ella's offering. They traded more candies while I attempted to take some pictures. Qiben bit us goodbye and Silvia came by to look at the girls. Lao lao also showed up, the girls happily hugged lao lao legs, then asked for candy. Lao lao kept asking them to ask me, I'd say no, then they ask lao lao again, and lao lao refer to me again, and I say no and they repeat. James bid us goodbye to go return the pooptume. I offered the girls the a-z wood puzzle to play with, Mimi sat down and almost attempted when Ella asked to draw on the board. I asked her if she could draw on paper, she said "我不要在纸上画。我要在画板上画。" Since I only had draw erase pens I didn't like them drawing, and I happened to not have a chair for them to stand on. Silvia offered to get one, and I stopped her and hinted I was distracting the girls. Lao lao by now had picked up Ella and offered her the pen. Mimi whined and dragged on lao lao asking to be picked up. I asked if lao lao would pick up 哭闹的Mimi. Mimi said "不会的。" And nicely asked "姥姥我可以画么。" I picked her up and she drew while I chatted with silvia. Silvia helped Mimi open caps, and helped save my face from Mimi's wild pen swings. Ba ba returned and we headed out.
On the way to ba ba's office we saw 亚男。 She offered the girls candy, stated her coworker's candy is poisonous, then pretended to take away Ella's bucket. Ella stared, then cried loudly and turned to me. 亚男 quickly gave back the bucket and comforted her. I asked if Ella could forgive 亚男. Ella just stared at 亚男 with teary eyes and cerned face. We bid 亚男 goodbye and continued.
We stopped for a drink in the kitchen and continued walking. Finally at baba's office, we went in the office, then I heard Mimi yell "姐姐！姐姐！" I came out of the office and saw lao lao walking away carrying Mimi, while Mimi yelled and extended her hand towards us. I called for lao lao and they returned to James's office. We packed and headed out. The girls stopped to play with some puzzle pieces and asked questions about the paper fish on the ceiling. We ran into Benjamin and chatted a little while the girls played, we joked they liked the fiber and glue to get high from the puzzles. We made it to the car, I help load them then drove lao lao's car. Lao lao sat with the girls and ba ba reported they were allowed to eat some candy and then got angry when they arrived and candy was taken away.
I met up with the girls on the top floor elevator in RTC. Ba ba reported the unhappiness but the girls seemed to be fine by then. Mimi even ran to me and gave me a tiny leg hug. Ba ba reported the girls rejected costume. We roamed RTC, it was super crowded and the lines were long. The girls ran straight to the fountain. We instructed them to only run around the 2nd circle, to avoid getting splashed, then ran nicely a couple loops, then seemed bored and wondered off to look at the paintings and surroundings. They soon started whining, Mimi for "冰激淋"，Ella for "别的吃的。甜的。" After some rejections Ella changed to "要鱼鱼。" We realized we left the backpack in the car, so we decided to go to a restaurant. On the way to lunchbox lab, Mimi saw the escalator and happily ran to it, almost got on herself, I grabbed her hand just in time. We rode up and down. Lao lao rode with Ella. Ella stood on the escalator holding lao lao's hand, looking happy. Mimi climbed up and down while the escalator went, and looped Ella quickly. After a couple minutes, James decided to stand in line for lunchbox lab. We rode for another 20 minutes ish. We saw James sat down so we went into the restaurant, James informed us the food wasn't ready yet. I asked if Mimi would like to ride more, she seemed uninterested, the girls already climbed on top of the booth bench and kicked off their shoes. The girls ate almost all the fries. Ella ate some tater tots and some chicken nudget, but mostly torn off the batter skin. The kids meal came with two little cups of sweet canned oranges, with some juice at the bottom. After Ella finished the oranges, she said "只剩果汁了。" and drank the juice. I walked with the girls back to the car, then left them to drive lao lao's car.
I got home and helped the girls dress into their costumes. Lao lao came down and wanted to go trick or treating with us, so I headed out with Ella and lao lao headed out with Mimi. We caught neighbda in the dark, just got home from work. We split right after, with Mimi whining about "龙龙" and Ella wanted to "要糖" 。I accompanied Ella to the neighbour on the right of the Japnese neighbour. Their yard was decorated with scary stuff that puffed out smoke, and a golden retriever refusing to go inside the house. Ella followed the path, staring at some decorations some times, unfazed by the smoke, made to the door. I prompted her to ring the bell. She put her bucket down, then her 如意棒 down, then tried to pick up her bucket, then let go, then stood up and pushed the bell. The neighbour girl handed Ella some candy. Ella took her bucket and came downstairs. She pet the dog for a while. We met up with Mimi, who had been hanging around the parked cars.
We made it to Tony's house together. Ella immediately started dancing to Tony's music. With 如意棒 in hand, arms stretched out, swayed side to side. The girls yelled at 小龙 and baked food for him, and picked pumpkin for him. We convinced the girls to move on.
Ella diligently followed me to 如意's. 多多 answered the door and handed them some candy, right then 如意 and 腿腿 showed up after a night's hard work. 如意 had devil horns, Ella immediately claimed she was "妖魔鬼怪。" 如意 engaged thee girls in conversations, Ella replied with clearly pronounced cute answers, Mimi murmured, then loudly yelled "我是唐三藏" ！Then quietly started singing 白龙马，and danced with her eyes closed. 如意 caught a video of the girls disoriented dancing. After one verse Ella suddenly loudly started 一闪一闪亮晶晶。The girls danced and sang, and talked to 如意 a bit more about her being 妖魔鬼怪。When asked who's idea it was to dress them in 孙悟空 and 唐三藏。 Ella stated "是姥姥"。
We bid 如意 goodbye to head to xiaojun's. We caught them right when they returned from their hard candy harvesting labors. Xiaoxiao told the girls to take many, the girls each took one, xiao xiao then asked them to take one more, then one more, then one more, until the girls can't see the bottom of their buckets anymore. The girls engaged in some xiao conversations, then bid them goodbye, then xiao xiao asked them to take one more each, then the girls accepted one more candy each.
On the way back home Frank's dognemasis's owner offered the girls some candy. The girls started asking for water, we headed to Tony's to see if he had any apple juice left, they were all out, the girls lingered a little more to lecture 小龙. As we were heading back, Wendy spotted us and offered the girls to come up for some candy, the girls followed. Ella was mesmerized by Frankenstein, Wendy touched him to show her he was harmless, Ella then started staring at candy, Wendy asked if she was ok with Frankenstein now, and Ella went back to staring at Frankenstein. Wendy then danced a little to the music, Ella and Mimi both followed and started swaying.
When we stated it was time for bed, Mimi shyly said "妈妈我要喝奶。" I gave her milk at the table, Mimi sat on the chair and drank. She pointed on the counter and cutely said "我要吃咖啡豆。" I gave her some grapenuts in a bowl and a spoon. She happily ate. Ella required to eat too and ba ba denied. After some quarrel ba ba took her upstairs. She cried there for a while and ba ba took her down. Ba ba offered her some grape nuts. Ella whined about "不要吃咖啡豆。要小的。" while pointing at her bowl vigorously. I asked if she'd like a spoon, she smiled and took the spoon. She and Mimi ate for a while. Out of nowhere Ella looked at me and said "不吃的话就得上楼了。"
Mimi pushed her bowl away, said "我要去睡觉了。" But just as she was on the edge of the chair, she turned and ate some more, then whined when I said there was no more. She followed ba ba upstairs, me too and asked Ella to follow up when she finished. Ella cried downstairs. I checked on her, she cried and slapped at me when I extended my hand. I checked two more times with the same result, but the last time she cried for ma ma while I walked up. I walked down again, kneeled down, and she ran to hug me. I picked her up, she struggled and came down, said "我不要被抱上楼。" She held my hand and walked upstairs. She cried two more times to wipe boogers, I wiped and she laid down. She asked for bunny and sheep, I could only find sheep. I said I didn't know where bunny was, Ella said "也许它没有被狗吃了。" She didn't ask for bunny again and laid down. While I was walking out of the room, Mimi said "不需要把Mimi马拎出来吗。" I asked her 拎出来 to where. She said "把姐姐马拎出来。"

She asked for bunny and sheep, I could only find sheep. I said I didn't know where bunny was, Ella said "也许它没有被狗吃了。" She didn't ask for bunny again and laid down. While I was walking out of the room, Mimi said "不需要把Mimi马拎出来吗。" I asked her 拎出来 to where. She said "把姐姐马拎出来。"
