In the morning ba ba reported he played legos with the girls. Ba ba presented two blocks and asked "一样吗", the girls always yelled "一样!".

Ba ba gave xiao E a nice tea aluminum box to play. I changed Mimi and ba ba went to cook. When the adults turned the box was no where to be found. Ba ba asked xiao E where was the 盒盒. Xiao E kept pointing at the cardboard box lids saying "盒盒", "盒盖". And stared at ba ba, as if to say ba ba are you blind. Mimi then found the tea box by the ladybug car and was excited to play with it, "打开打开打开打开". Xiao E ran to her and tried to take the box and pushed Mimi and slapped Mimi. Mimi fended xiao E off but was very distraught. I went to find another box. While I was away I heard a long Mimi cry. I came back to see Mimi crying on ground and xiao E sitting by her playing with the box. I offered Mimi an altoid box, Mimi was not happy with the xiao box, but slowly gained interest after I put something in it. Mimi played while still sniffling.

For brunch the girls sat down on little chairs with their table and had some nice toast. Like a proper little meal. Mimi took the toast, took a couple bites, and started wandering around the kitchen chomping. Ella sat peacefully and worked through the bread. I thought Mimi was done and offered her leftover bread to xiao E. But Mimi came back. Xiao E said "MIMI" and gestured Mimi the bread, Mimi reclaimed the bread.

After Mimi was full again, I took her to was her hands. Xiao E went over to sit in Mimi's seat and finished her bread. Then xiao E went back and forth sitting on one chair then the other.

The leaves were dry so the girls were taken to play in them. As soon as out of the door, xiao E rolled on the steps and got bumps on her forehead. She continued brave exploration. The girls braved the cold. Xiao E asked me to "擦鼻鼻" once. But there was no snout at all. The girls raked with the branches, while saying "扫叶叶". Xiao E was really into "推". They didn't want to come back. When the wind blew and the leaves fell, the girls were mesmerized.

Back in the warm house, the girls were offered seats on the carpet, and sheep and poo 熊 to keep them warmer. They listened to cat in the hat in Chinese until the very end. When the book was closed, they demanded to see mao mao and yu yu one last time before running away.

At lunch, a Auggie and Lily came to visit. The girls were more comfortable with this pair than most, so their high fives came easily. Xiao E brought Lily a little shoe as a gift. Auggie picked up Mimi and lifted her into the sky a few times and she laughed. Xiao E came over for her turn and she laughed too. Then Mimi wanted to go again, so Auggie had no choice. Then xiao E wanted again and Auggie was getting tired. Auggie persevered.

The girls were put to nap. They did not nap for long, they spent more time yelling and laughing in their cribs.

The girls were taken to E's. Had some dumplings but they weren't very interested in eating. The TV was on and was showing cartoons and they were completely absorbed by it. It was tom and Jerry, and Mimi would commentate the cartoon. When the mouse ran up the lamp, Mimi yelled "爬!". Us parents had plenty of time to eat.

We brought the legos. Auntie elena wanted to play with them, but they definitely didn't want to play with this auntie. Mimi crawled on the couch and tried to take things from the end table. She got a remote and changed the channels, so the remote was confiscated. Then she got the keys and set off uncle steve's car alarm, so the keys were confiscated. Then she got the other remote and changed the channel again, so the other remote was confiscated. Then she handed ba ba two pens and yet another remote and then she couldn't reach anymore things on the end table.

Auntie R put on some music. Mimi was really enjoying it so she was dancing and bouncing. But she was butt slamming ba ba's stomach, most uncomfortable having just eaten dinner.

I brought out Dommie's cat toy, the ball in the round track. The ball blinked and the girls sat around it swatting the ball around the track. They loved this toy a lot, E commented it was way more than the cat ever did. In five minutes they got more usage out of it than the past year.

Auntie E offered up her snorlex. Mimi kept calling it "黑猫". The adults tried to pound the term snorlex into her but no use. The adults tried 蓝猫, no use. The girls called all 猫s 黑猫 since coming back from grand parents where Lily spied on them all the time. The 招财猫 in shops were 黑猫. The cat in the hat was 黑猫. They were excited to see black cat in the comparison book and ignored the white cat.

When it was time to leave, Mimi got anxious, so she was picked up. She saw the light switch on the wall, immediately stopped crying, and yelled "要按按钮".
