Mimi and Ella went outside to play in the snow. Mama made a little snowball for Mimi and Ella to hold on to. Dada made tiny snowballs and threw them at the girls. Ella didn't really like it, she would shuffle away as dada readied a throw. Mimi hated it, when dada got ready to throw she would yell out NO and then try to run away. One time she covered her face with her tiny mittens to hide.
We then built a snowman. Dada rolled up the snow into big round balls and stacked them. The girls were studying the process, Mimi also wanted to help a little. She brought a little clump of snow for dada which he added to the ball. Once assembled mama got a hat, scarf, eyes, and nose to finish it off. Dada named it Peter. Mimi and Ella realized at this point that it really is a snowman. They said hi to it and waved. They didn't really get too close to it, perhaps dada's snow homunculus was waiting to strike. It was getting chilly so time to go in. Mimi and Ella waved goodbye to the snowman and blew kisses.
Later in the day, Ella was dozing off in grandma's arms ready for a sweet nap. Grandma was gently singing a song and rubbing Ella's back. Since grandma had stuff to do, dada took Ella upstairs for a nap and she did not like being disturbed. Crankily she eventually fell asleep.
Xiao E woke from nap first. She was still tired. Rolled on the bear. She was amused by frank sniffing. When she saw lao lao. Her furrowed brow returned, stood up, slowly shuffled to lao lao. Lao ye just woke up, mistook xiao E for Mimi. Xiao E sounded urgent grunts, continued shuffling to lao lao, extended her hands, she was picked up.
Mimi was still asleep. Her belly was up, both hands held bunny on her chest. She was woken up. After a couple minutes of struggling she sat up. She pointed at her blanket, said "Mimi 的被". She was informed she had 花被. She pointed at her blanket, said "Mimi 的花被". She pointed at xiao E's blanket, said "ella的花被". She looked at ma ma, asked "ma ma 的被在哪儿呐". She was told it was in the other room. Mimi pointed to the other room, said "ma ma 的花被在那". She was informed ma ma had 叶子被. Mimi pointed to the other room, said "ma ma 的叶子被".
While Mimi was talking, ma ma heard voices from downstairs. Lao lao commented that xiao E had commented she detected Mimi upstairs. Xiao E then made her way up the stairs. Mimi "NOOOO"'ed through the crib bars. Xiao e happily ran to her own bed to announce it was "ella 的床". Both girls were brought down.
Xiao E started going around the room saying "袋鼠妈妈在哪儿". No adult know what she was talking about. Until she led ma ma to her animal puzzle, where the kangaroo was missing. The kangaroo was located in a box. She happily squeaked "袋鼠妈妈!". Took it, and played with the puzzle for a while.
Mama shows these short videos about how to draw cute little animals when she is fixing the girls' hair. Mimi is fine with most of them, except she really doesn't like the rooster one. She watches until the rooster finally takes shape with the tail being drawn and then colored. She covers her eyes and waits until the rooster is off the screen and then she will resume watching.
Lao ye reported Xiao E had been going into his room, demanding "坐凳凳". Lao ye allowed her to sit on the chair today. She was too short, and couldn't reach the computer. In the afternoon, xiao E followed him into the room again, said "老爷坐凳凳". Lao ye sat. Xiao E said "ella 坐老爷". She finally could reach the computer sitting on lao ye.
Lao lao busted out the electric keyboard. In two pushes, Xiao E turned on the auto play songs. The girls sat in front of the keyboard and grooved. Mimi picked up a lego, said "Mimi 和积木跳舞". After saying it a few times, xiao E picked up a toy car, said "ella 和车跳舞". Ma ma picked a lego to dance with. When Frank came to ma ma, ma ma invited him into ma ma lap. Mimi said "ma ma 和狗狗跳舞". Xiao E said "ma ma 和积木跳舞". Xiao E was asked to look again, xiao E frowned at Frank, said quietly "ma ma 和狗狗跳舞". Lao ye came by for an inspection. Mimi ordered "lao ye跳舞". Ma ma ordered lao ye to pick a dancing partner, lao ye picked a school bus. The girls happily announced everyone and their dancing partners. Lao ye danced for a while, then left to fix lights. Xiao E picked up the school bus, ran to lao ye, stretched her arm out, waited till lao ye noticed her. Lao ye took the bus. Xiao E turned around and happily ran back to the keyboard and plopped down. Lao ye came back to dance.
The adults turned off the light to let the girls calm down. Mimi said "Mimi抱熊睡觉". She hugged bear all the way to the changing table. Switched hands hugging bear while getting into sleeves. She was put in the crib with bear. She pet bear and cackled a little.
Ba ba took off xiao E's dress. Xiao E said "ella的裤子掉了". Ba ba took xiao E upstairs. He was met by a standing Mimi hugging bear. Ba ba asked if Mimi was happy. Mimi did her signature cackle, said "好高兴", did her signature cackle, said "好高兴", did her signature cackle, said "好高兴". Ba ba left.
