After the adults got home, grand ma ma left in a hurry with the xiao pooch. The girls waved grand ma ma bye without fuss. Dada cooked some eggs and put bites of egg on each fork. They chomped and put the fork down for dada to refill. The eggs needed to be cut big so it would stay on the fork. The girls would eat them in one bite. Even xiao E, she tried so hard to stuff a huge bite in her mouth, with passion. Sometimes with stuffing help from the other hand. They ate a lot of egg and then some fruit and graham crackers.

Mimi picked up drum to play, but after a brief few drumming with the stick, so put the stick in her mouth and started sucking and thrashing with it drumming the air. The adults deemed her too sleepy to play. But Mimi turned the drum over, and started stirring with the stick, saying "Mimi zuo fan", and started offering bites to ma ma. Xiao E came over and dropped some clock blocks into the drum, saying "gei". Then waited for Mimi to stir some, and said "ella yao chi, gei ella chi". Mimi offered xiao E to suck on the stick. 

After the dirty play the dirty xiao ones were taken to bath. Qi ben ahyi gave ma ma some swimsuits for the xiao ones! The xiao ones modeled them. They looked pretty sharp, nice and ready for hawaii.

After shower xiao E took the drum, cooked, and offered to all the xiao nimals around the room. Mimi tried to stir in the same pot with the paddle but xiao E didn't like it. The girls had a battle over cooking instruments. Mimi was offered a little bowl to cook instead. Mimi cooked for a little bit, saying "碗，做饭". Then started drinking from it, slurping and tipping all the way. Ma ma blew in the hole in the middle of the bowl while Mimi was drinking. Mimi went berserk slapping ma ma with stick. Then stared at the bowl, then started blowing and demanding ma ma to blow.

ella letter 4 year old

4 year old Ella is a straight shooter. Once you wanted to take soft soft (flannel pajamas) with you to bed, but your hands were too full with other stuff, that you were also taking to bed. You looked at me, barked 'carry them for me'. As I was picking them up, you noticed Mimi coming upstairs with a basket. You pointed at the basket, barked 'put them inside!' Mimi happily said 'oh I help you carry upstairs'. I put the pajamas in, and Mimi carried them up.  Once you ordered me to sing twinkle twinkle little star with you. After we sang a verse, you said 'hmm we need to sing by the blinds'. Ba ba reported in the morning the girls didn't get along. There was a lot of fighting over who gets to play with which toy and Mimi always lost. She was pretty upset. Given their fussiness, they were released from their play area before we went out for the day. They wandered around the house, grabbed some paper and some markers, and ran to their little desk. They each sat down and pretended to doodle on the paper. The marker caps were still on to protect the walls. I watched peppa with the girls, while pausing and quizzing them what was going on. They got some questions, like where was George's dinosaur? They answered "丢了".

mimi letter 4 years old

4 year old Mimi is a proud Mimi. When you accomplish something, you skip around the room. (Like riding a horse, one leg in the front, one leg in the back, never crossing each other, shuffles in one direction until hitting a wall, then turn around and do it the other way)  Things you're proud of:  Being 4 years old.
