Today is our travel day back to washington. Grandma and grandpa closed the restaurant today to spend more time with the girls. Grandma and grandpa had lots of play time with the girls, and they made a nice lunch. Mimi and ella loved grandpa's seared fish. Once packed, the girls said goodbye to grandma and uncle gordon and we all left to the airport with grandpa.
At the airport, we checked in and worked our way to the gate. The girls waited for boarding at the nice play area in the airport that had a TV. They were very interested in the spiderman cartoon. It captured their attention. Once the girls boarded the plane, Mimi and ella wolfed down cracker after cracker. Once in flight, the girls really wanted to explore. They kept asking to be put down so they could wander the aisle and say hi to people. Mimi would go 4 rows up and 3 rows back waving at different people before looping back to mama and dada. Ella didn't go nearly as far, but she was also more interested in the troll movie on mama's screen. They got pretty fussy and mama and dada held them until they slept. Ella got woken up once because a person walked by and conked her in the head on accident, so mama changed ella's sleeping position.
Once we landed, we called the shuttle to the parking and hopped on with all the stuff. Ella would point out cars and trees and anything else she noticed on the bus ride. We loaded the car and headed to dinner near ranch 99 super market. We entered the market area, and the girls quickly found the coin powered cars. They wanted a ride on the car and wouldn't leave the toys. Mama found some nice noodle place, so cars would have to wait. The girls loved the pork and the noodles. We shopped a little for the week at the grocery store there. Mimi found some police officers doing some shopping, one said hello and she said "HALLO" back and waved. Good girl, they will never suspect you. After shopping, the girls came again at the coin powered cars, determined to get a ride. Mama set them in and took some photos but no coin power for you. The girls went with ma ma to pick up bambu drink, and were rewarded with early trick or treat candy. We loaded the car and headed home.
Once at home, it was kind of late. The girls plopped on the ground. Xiao E flapped her way to ya ya and laid there. They regained some energy just for time for bed.
