In the morning ba ba reported he made the girls put away stray toys. Ella put away some things and Mimi clapped, she did not help. She was supervising Ella and ba ba working.
Ba ba played legos with the girls and fed them some peanut butter toast. Mimi called out for "包包", and ate bite after bite. Not much left for ba ba. Ella also took some bites, but nice and casually.
Mimi and ella would hand ba ba blocks and he would assemble some things, and then ba ba would hand them some blocks while they assembled. They played together for a while with blocks.
Then Mimi started chucking blocks out of the play area. So ba ba had them put away the blocks, again Mimi supervised. After the blocks were put away, ba ba read them a book. Mimi grabbed her pooh plush, Ella grabbed her minnie mouse plush, and they both plopped down in front of ba ba. Ella saw the little blue truck cover and said "绿青蛙在开车". Ba ba didn't know many Chinese words. The girls gave him confused looks during the mangled parts. Mimi got up halfway and said "MIMI 不看书" and then walked away. Ella still focused on the reading. Then Mimi came up behind Ella and whacked her on the head with her little toddler fist. Ba ba instructed her that if she didn't want to read, she could go play by herself. Then Mimi stood behind Ella and let ba ba read the story.
I noticed Mimi started saying "给妈妈一个". She liked to play going away and coming back. She would say "Mimi 走了". And ran to the window. I would say bye. Mimi would tumble run back and say "Mimi 有回来了".

The girls woke up very late so no nap. They played inside and outside and inside. The girls fought some. The adults went to eat a snack. Xiao E sounded E siren. Ba ba investigated and reported xiao E's finger skin was broken. Suspected Mimi bite. Ba ba made Mimi hug and kiss xiao E. When I returned after a few minutes, xiao E plopped into my arms. Mimi came after, fearing Mimi would attack, I held xiao E tight. Mimi gave xiao E a spoon hug and kiss on the back. Mimi came back a few times to hug and kiss xiao E. I took out my camera, and Mimi started slapping xiao E.
The girls had a car snack. Mimi bit many cereals in half to "给妈妈/ba ba/ella". Usually she 给 the food that she doesn't want to eat.
We went to Redmond city hall for a little holiday festival. Mimi fiercely opposed putting on hat. I said it was raining so.., she said "戴帽帽". But when I put on the hat she torn at it to push it away.
There was free popcorn at the city hall, and the girls ate most of it. The girls got little blinking lights to wear on their clothes during the walk, and then we saw some fireworks. Ella loved it, she said "烟花", pointed and said "WHOA" during the popping and the light show. Mimi shaked in terror.

After the fireworks, the girls went to the town center via a shuttle bus. The girls looked out the tall bus's side windows and pointed out the cars. After arriving at town center the girls got off the bus and walked around. They liked the little lights and liked the carousel. The line was long, so the girls didn't ride. The girls received some toothbrushes to hold. Xiao E didn't like it so I put it in my bag. Mimi held hers the whole way. At the carousel Mimi was caught brushing her teeth, the plastic wrapper already gone.
After a short loop, it was back to the shuttle. This time the girls sat in the front of the bus, where they could look out the front window. Ella had her hands on the little counter mesmerized by the other cars and the moving of the bus. She did not move at all. Meanwhile Mimi terror head butted and pinched ba ba's face. Ba ba tried to distract her by asking her to point to ba ba's nose. Mimi "按爸爸的鼻子, 按妈妈的鼻子, 按Ella的鼻子". Then went back to slapping ba ba.
